The Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry has done the following anti-corruption work:

• the Anti-Corruption Practical Action Plan for 2018-2019 was approved;
• systematic preventive and explanatory work is carried out among responsible employees of the pharmaceutical inspection, licensing of retail sales of medicines, registration of medicines and issuance of a certificate of conformity;
• urgently, the necessary measures are considered and taken to address citizens' appeals in cases of various offenses.

Uzbekistan, along with 130 countries, joins the International Convention against Corruption, which was adopted on October 31, 2003.

To achieve the maximum effect in the prevention and fight against corruption, common efforts are needed not only by state bodies, but also the responsibility of all citizens, as well as State and public organizations.
